what leaked?

Thanks to all for your ideas and suggestions! I know fer sure it isn't 
gasoline, and I have a feeling the windshield wiper fluid suggestion was 
in jest (I have Asperger's, so I don't always get jokes ... &:-)).

Anyway, I think my biggest worry has been that if it's the diff, could it 
catastrophically seize if I were trying to drive the car. If it's the 
brake line, then I'm only worried it'll remove the paint (and about 
stopping) before I can get the lines replaced.
