20v Chump Car?!

My personal opinion would be to hunt down an audi a8/s8 with failed in
reverse tranny. Parting the car out will get you to the 500 dollar net
value very fast, and without the fenders, doors, and all those unecessary
bits (its a spaceframed car) it would be wicked light. Huge brembos, 300
some hp, and all the grip you need in this sort of class, you just need to
find a junker and make it a racecar. There was an A8 for 350 that had
already been stripped, not a bad option if you were on the other side of
the country in florida. And who needs reverse anyway?
This is my plan for a lemons car in the future, which allows a net value if
you include sale of spare parts, and safety and brakes don't count in the
price.
