This is the one point i was trying to disagree with, and justify my point with my on success.

Every Cadillac V, every porsche, every 'vette, every ferarri comes with synthetic in the crankcase.
And most break in just fine.

While it may have once been true, most motors break in fine with synthetic today - if you follow the rules.
