Brand of Gasoline

I wonder if Fat has been filling up with E-85 gas and the last tank was regular premium?

That would account for the price difference and mileage.

My 87 16 V Scirocco not only gets a noticeable
increase in power, the mileage goes up 3 or4 mpg.
