'91 100q NF Fuel injector Seals

Whatever happened to good old fashioned troubleshooting? I would not associate long cranking with bad injector seals, but it might be at least partly responsible. I'd recommend you start by checking the system and residual fuel pressure. It would also be good to consider what sort of work you have done recently, if you have not replaced the fuel pump, I'd say it would be a suspect (specifically the check valve). Are there any other symptoms? Have you replaced the fuel filter?

I certainly wouldn't run out and buy a new set of injectors without evaluating the existing ones.

Replacing the injector seals is usually a pretty simple task. There's a bracket attached to the valve cover that holds the injectors in place. Remove it and out should be possible to gently pry the injectors out of the inserts. Usually the seals remain attached to the injectors, but you may have to dig into the insert.
