2008 A4 : pre-purchase inspection

Get whatever documentation on oil changes you can - its a uphill battle.

tip?  6-sp?  different things to check. 6-sp, check for clutch abuse. Normal wear is irrelvant on those cars.

B6s and B7s are too new for most of us to know.  I end at B/C5.

As usual, with used cars you check everything both because they slowly add up, and because it gives an overall view of condition and upkeep.
