Fuel Pump Storage

Get a can of "Fogging oil" (you can get it at most autoparts places) and
coat the whole thing, spray in the lines etc. Then seal it tight in a
plastic bag or big jar/whatever that's water tight.
If you're planning on storing a lot of stuff, I have had very good luck
storing aluminum and other metal parts with a coating of ACF50, it's made
to rust proof airplanes, and it's relatively cheap if you get small
quantities from aircraft supply places like Aviation Spruce. I spray the
larger items such as heads, blocks etc. and then seal them up in large
plastic rubbermaid type containers with a strip of duct tape around the
lid to keep moisture out, you can throw in a couple of desiccant bags if
you're going to be storing in an area prone to humidity.

BCNU,
Experience is the name everyone gives to their mistakes.
