NAC - British cars

The Spitfire is the exact opposite of the Audi. The Spit is the least
complicated car I ever owned and the having the whole front end tilt
forward makes working on it simple. The 5ktq is more complicated but has
comfort and bun warmers. There is also the ability to drive thru the
snow in a straight line.
I can fix nearly anything on the
Spitfire with a pair of pliers and a screwdriver. I keep a can of ether
and a set of points in the trunk of the Spit just in case. There is, as
Steve mentioned, a smiles per gallon as well.
I enjoy driving
the Audi but the age combined with complexity does leave a tiny bit of
anxiety. There are a lot of aging rubber pieces and gizmos on it. I keep
an alt belt in the trunk and figure there is not enough room in the
trunk to cover all the weirdness that can happen

I'd love to have a Triumph Spitfire.
Or a Spitfire...
