[20v] Clicking noise under '91 CQ when turning

Clicking while turning usually indicates an outer cv joint problem.

There is a clicking noise on my '91 Coupe Quattro when I turn or decelerate  
on
cold mornings. There is nothing loose under the car. 3-4 years ago my  
mechanic
told me that he lubricated that half-shafts and that was effective. The  
noise
is now beginning to come back. 

My question is where exactly do you lubricate on the half-shafts?
