Clicking noise under '91 CQ when turning

Raxles.com is good stuff. I’ve purchased 3 half-shafts from them so far. Be careful, though, if you have “Chinese” axles currently on you car, they won’t accept them for core. I had two on my wife’s A6 avant (which explains why I couldn’t get the stinking outer joint off the shaft to replace just the boot…). But knowing this going in, Raxles gave me a bit of a discount on the core charge since he didn’t have to pay the return shipping on them.

I would add: Don't procrastinate on getting it fixed, or you may be stranded. And if you're going to do one side, you might as well do both, just in case.
Any BTDT on half-shafts from these folks?

In my case a while back, the CV joint had failed and stranded me (I had procrastinated for a few weeks), so my garage used axles made by EMPI, which they could get immediately.
