2-pin connectors

I want to thank all of you guys for the support, to keep my 1990 80 2L non-Q.  It runs very good, I can even make the tires squeal once in a while. Of course hot pavement helps.

Now to my question. Subject: AMP with spring catch on the outside. The one in question has two pins and fits over the thermal time switch. I must have been too rough because as I pulled the female conn. off, I noticed that the plastic material,  around the pins was cracked/broken. The pin are just hanging there. 

Question: How do I remove the pins from the conn. shell? I have tried probing from the rear and from the front. It’s hard to see in there. Most pins have a small piece of metal sticking up to block the pins backing out when you slide the male into the female connection.

If no solution to removing the pins, does anyone have any 2-pin female connectors (that I can buy) or know where to buy them?
