Help with A4 Running Rich

Where do you live? If in the SF Bay Area, I would be happy to help. Without
the codes, it's hard to diagnose. If not in SF, see if a local Audifan will
help a brother out.

Hi Andrew

Regrettably I don't have a reader....that will be my next "investment."

So I've been relying on the folks down the way who have been very n ice
about my occasional request...

So, I can't list them.

But he did try to clear using the VAG-COM and was totally flummoxed because
they wouldn't clear.\

I believe his static clear does require access to the computer via
Volkswagen to reprogram some of the "maps."

So, I certainly won't be doing the "static."

Cheers

Can you post all codes currently thrown. Also, I would highly recommend you
clear the codes using the VAG-COM rather than shorting the power. Seems like
a great way to blow up your ECU.

Unless of course, this is a Frankenstein because everyone knows that's the
only way to animate a green monster. ;-)
