'91 100q 5 injectors replaced - now car wont start

Perhaps your expectations are set a bit high ...

From what I've seen in my 30 years on audifans is that sometimes in the end you chalk it up to ... who knows!?  When I offer my tuppence it is in the hopes that someone else can get their car running and that should I be put in a similar situation at some point that the folks here will be helpful.

Paying a mechanic to solve a problem on a 20 year old car doesn't take long to exceed the value of the car, so I'm not going to complain when someone decides to cut their losses.  In fact my thinking would be more in line with offering condolences.

I have been following this thread for some time now, and agree that it is likely to be something that isn't expensive to fix if you want to figure it out for yourself.  Maybe what you should do is to buy the car, find the problem and report back what you found.  From the sound of things the car is in good condition otherwise ...
