Throttle switch

Two things. First, sounds like you have a possible broken wire to the idle
switch, and also, the starting problem sounds cold start related. The cold
start valve (CSV) is run by the ECU on your car. It should have power while
cranking (all the time while cranking) on one side. The other side is the
ground. The ground is the "switched" side, controled by the ECU. So, when
cold, you should have ground on that side for about 5-10 seconds.

My $ is on a broken wire that runs from the starter to the CSV. Look on the
starter end. BTST tons of times.
