And the new Chevy SS/Caprice police car is a rebodied Pontiac G8 which was a badge-engineered Holden of some sort. The Commodore, I
think. I always liked the G8.

I believe that it was the coupe version of the Holden/Vauxhall which was  
sold in this country as the Pontiac GTO. As I recall, the price was about 
$32K  here. Considerably less than the price in Britain as mentioned in the 
video,  which I think works out to $62K American. American reviews granted that 
it was  fast, but panned it at the price of $32K. GM seems to use Holden as 
a performance laboratory. A friend's brother is an engineer for Holden.  
Several years ago he sent me pictures of the not yet introduced "new" Camaro  
that he was driving around Australia. It was clad in fiberglass panels and  
painted flat black. It was equipped with the latest Chevy V8, LS7? 
Australians  seem to love performance cars the way Americans do, I commend "The 
World's  Fastest Indian".
