Running out of gas

The dripping fuel tank I replaced on my 200q20v sedan was leaking from
just above the seam where the top and bottom of the tank are welded
together. The lips of that seam collect corrosives and they eat their
way through. There were pinholes in several places surrounded by rust.
If you want my old tank so you can have it repaired and replaced in the
V8 (same tanks), let me know.
Try looking for the drip if the tank is half or less full. Mine didn't
leak when the level was down.
Tank R&R was a real pain, but the DIY savings paid for my hoist.
