'04 A4 1.8T sludge?

Just make sure you are using the 'larger' oil filter (OEM) and frequent oil changes with a 
recommended synthetic. I do every 5k with M1 0w-40. Also, make sure you give the turbo a 
minute or two to cool down, if you are running the car hard immediately before parking it.
Less chance of it cooking the oil.

My wife has a 2004 A4 1.8T with 55K miles on it.  I want to keep it in
great shape... should I be doing any preventative maintenance right now
regarding the sludge thread on the list for the past couple of days?
