B3 rear tie rods OEM vs. 034

Hello Marco, 

Autohausaz.com, a WorldPac supplier, has the 893501499A curved rear tie rod Lemfoerder brand for $107/ea.  Free shipping. 

If you have a local CarQuest store, check to see if they are part of WorldPac, as many are.  Often, you can get same or next day delivery. 



If you are in salty sandy conditions, I think the OEM sealed tie rods are better choice. 



Other good places to look for parts are the quattroworld and motorgeek sites.  $200 is a premium price for a subframe that you need to refinish.

Another thing while I am under there: 
Has anybody used the 034 rear tie rods on their car ? 
They look great and cost less than a original set at the dealer or my local parts store. 
Are the ball-jointed, plastic-bushed ends holding up to salty cold winters is my biggest concern.
