My 90 90Q seems to know it's approaching 250k km by acting her age.

For a few weeks the idle went wild, she belched (white) smoke erratically,
she'd threaten to stall (but never did) on deceleration.

Having gained my full attention, I did a compression test, followed by a
leak down test; Head was rebuilt @ 125k, lower block is all original. I
have a rebuild able 3B avalable for building a sleeper car.

 - #2 10.5 10.5 7.0 17%
 - #3 9.7 10.5 7.0 5%
 - #4 9.5 10.0 6.5 0%
 - #5 9.7 10.5 7.00 0%

Cleaned the ISV, replaced the O2 sensor, cleaned air filter, replaced the
rotor and cap and put it all back together. For the past 3 days she's been
purring...except

The plugs are covered with a black dry soot and it smells of hydrocarbons.
On occasion, if I watch in the mirror, I can cover the car behind in white
smoke (like James Bond) If I measured mileage it appears to be down. Oil
consumption is a little elevated.

She's giving me hints but I can't talk to her (blink test says she's fine).
