My late 90 90 20v, 285K when it expired in the new owners brain fade, my 
wife's 95 A6QA, 290K when the second tranny died, and an '85 Jetta with 
465K, 400 of that on a used GTi motor from the bone yard.  The Audis 
drove as if they were reasonably new, the Jetta was nothing more than a 
reliable beater.  Passed smog, though ......... Oh, and 2 TDis with 
around 200K each.  THEY drive like new.
