Unka Bart passed away

I still remember reading his posts back in the early days and enjoying his humor and knowledge. And the long discussions about the RS2 mechanical components, how to turn a US 5 cylinder engined vehicle to RS2 specs. But also about other things not necessarily related to AUDIs (the notorious NAC discussions).

As accountants say the only absolutely certain things in life are taxes and death.

On the other hand Socrates has also said that if there is life after death, if you are a good person and if good persons go to a better place then you leave this life and you simply go to another place where only good people we be around you. Which is a very good thing. If there is no life after death and everything ends here then there simply is no problem and no reason to discuss things further.

Our thoughts are with his close friends and family and we, the people who had the joy and privilege to know him through his posts on this list. Ee will all miss him.
Until we all meet him again. I am sure he will be there discussing about car and engine matters with Ferdinand Porsche, Enzo Ferrari, Colin Chapman and the other petrolheads.

With a big smile on his face and not taxes to pay for petrol.

Rest in Peace Unka Bart.

He had friended me a number of years ago, even though we had never met,
other than being Audifans.
