Unka Bart passed away

 Thanks for the link. I'd already guessed the man was multifaceted and had lived a bit.

 His posts taught me a lot about manners and humour, they were always even-tempered and informative, which is more than could be said of some of mine.

 Didn't he always sign off 'Yer kindly old Unka Bart'?  I guess we all wished for an uncle like that.

 Seems he touched a few lives positively even in cyber space.

 RIP Unka Bart.
