man why would you spend the time to ghettofab it when you can just fix it
once and move on? crazy imo to spend the time and not just get r done. btdt
so many times on audi cooling systems. because it WILL fail at the worst
possible time [like coming down i80 in a blizzard from tahoe..]

just buy and swap a new radiator already.
