2002 A6 avant

I chased a passenger side leak in my '99 A6 for quite a while. Water was coming through the cabin filter housing and getting into the passenger footwell. A bad storm drowned my transmission control unit, but that was brought back to life by my indie mechanic.

I finally traced the problem to a poorly  installed trim piece at the base of the windshield. Literally pushing it back into place solved the problem.

No more leaks.

Shitty design, frankly.
