Temp gauge

Don't forgot most of these gauges are adjustable.

The one on my '88 100 was always reading low. Once I'd established the cooling system was ok, I noted where the needle was when the rad fan cut in. It was way lower than on my CGT, so I pulled out the cluster (but still connected) and turned the little adjuster screw a bit until it was just past mid way when the fan cut in.

I don't know what the initial adjustment routine is at point of manufacture, but this one had clearly slipped through Quality Control. 

Analogue dashes don't you love 'em?
