Rant: why do the Audi gods suddenly have it in for me?

This alignment shop came highly recommended and had done a good job on
an alignment for me 4 years ago. I called them today. The guy said that
for whatever reason the adjustments weren't holding, and they would send
a flatbed to pick the car up from my garage. So it sounds as if they're
trying to step up to the plate and make things right. We shall see. IMO,
the car was entitled to need suspension bits replaced at its age. I see
the quality of the work as a reflection on the shop.

I should put the rental agency on speed dial! I'm more receptive to
replacing the car than I was 2 weeks ago.
