Aluminum radiator

The difference between 5k and 200q20v main radiators should be that the 200q20v one has the extra two nipples low down towards the centerline to attach the auxiliary radiator found on the 200q20v. I think people have reported bridging those with just a hose when they don't want to use/have the aux rad. Dunno about brackets as I only had a 200q20v.

Subject: Aluminum radiator

Last night I broke the bleed hose plastic nipple off of my radiator in my ‘fast’ 5ktq. I’m thinking of upgrading to an all aluminum unit, but of course no such thing exists for the 5ktq. I found one on fleabay listed as fitting a 200tq20v and the fittings all look to be in roughly the same places. Can anybody here comment on potential differences that would make that one not able to be fitted to my 5000? I’m ok with bracketry differences as I’ve got a TIG. I was considering making one, but if I could buy this one it would save me a lot of time and effort!
