My S6 has indeed been great to own - and i’ve had it nearly 11 years.
I like it so much i’ve pretty much done a total rebuild of the suspension & brakes - not technically necessary, but it drives like a *new car* and i plan to keep it another 6-10 years. I also put some money ( and mostly work) into the exterior to fix one piece of rust behind a door “blade” - which i suspect came from an early life repair ( i got the car @30 months off lease).
The TB/nose job - even with service position is big and expensive every (pick your number) 75k miles or say 7 years.
But i love it enough to spend money on it and keep it. And the motor? Change the oil. Runs like new, even with a half dozen track days.
