Check that idle switch, too! And check that it stays open at full
throttle...

On CIS cars the idle switch causes a fuel cut to drop the car to idle.
Yours might have a similar function.

The symptoms on my car: at constant highway speed the engine will suddenly hesitate for 30 sec to 60 sec then regains full power for a couple of minutes then again, the cycle repeats itself. In city driving at low rev when trying to switch into 4th gear at about 60 Km/h the engine will hesitate and almost stalled, had to downshift or depress the clutch. Check the codes.
