Peter,
I'll add that a pump rebuild is something any competent shop can handle.
The hardest part is getting the shaft seal replaced, for that you need a
puller to remove the pulley mount. The rest is just pull out the o-rings
and put the kit ones in. Now if your pump has sent bits up the line you
might have to get the screens on the banjo bolts cleaned.
Oh and careful on that drive, the same pump provides brake assist so extra
care required.
