'87 4000 quattro cooling system

Cool.  Thanks.  That should save me some time looking for something that
isn't there, yet that has probably been my unfortunate strategy all along.
Anyway, I am anxious to get all the new components of the cooling system on
to see if the temperature reads lower.  They have to be delivered first.  I
think it was indeed having some problems because the expansion tank is
actually a little warped and has a tiny crack in it.  And the shop that is
cleaning and fixing the radiator called me today and told me it would take
another day.
