Odd Squeaking

Is the squeak definitely outside the car, or might it be the clock spring in the steering column just behind the steering wheel? I've had those swear on occasion.
Vibrations like you describe are almost always wheel/tire issues. If it bugs you enough to pay some money to fix have somebody with a road force balancer spin them. You could rotate front to rear to see if the problem follows the wheels too.
Headlight aim will need to be checked after the sensor replacement. It should be ok, but it likely hasn't been checked in years anyways so it's worth looking at.

I can feel almost a rubbery binding in my steering wheel as I turn. This happens left or right, forward or reverse, low or moderate speeds - the same feeling is present turning in a parking lot as it is in a rotary at 35 MPH.
