Lotus Europa ...fond memories

Purchased a '69 Europa in '70. It is the only 'new' car I have ever purchased. LOVED, and lived in this car (40K miles in the first year). Yes, it had a long list of shortcomings but one must consider the fact that my current ride at that time was a MK1 Sprite. I met my wife that same year, she had a 1970 96 Saab. We took a vote, sold the Lotus and made the down payment on our first house ...the rest is history. Still got a folder on the car ..$4492 out the door.
