TR: [urq] Fuel pump filter on 83URQ

Hi listers,

 

Here is a little quest I did to help Tony find a filter for his urQ. Looks that Hastings, AC Delco and Beck-Arnley can still be sourced from various suppliers.

your correct.  It is a NAPA Gold fuel filter.  I have a NAPA store just down the road from.  You would believe how time I spent looking for this filter.

Fram G6399 seems to be still available from Autozone and Amazon...

However, NAPA Gold 3299 (metal, no bracket) is out of stock. Same thing for 
the Napa Gold 3278 (exact copy of the Audi)

Then, a guy on a French forum told us that this GM part will fit: 19112743.
Amazon says it is equivalent to an AC Delco GF792. Looks similar to the Audi unit 
to me...

Then another forum shows a Beck-Arnley identical filter 043-0852.

Then I remembered that I once work in a warehouse that was distributing 
Hastings filters... They have a generic 1/2in metallic filter which is 
available at Summit Racing and on Amazon too.

Guys,I need to replace the fuel pump filter, the fuel pump and the fuel filter 
and possibly the fuel accumulator.  I found 3 out of 4 of the items but I find 
the fuel pump filter which is located just before the fuel pump.  Does anyone 
know where I track one down.  Thanks much in advance.
