Steering Column Removal

Hi Folks,

MAC - Replaced the HPFP on my daughters A4 2.0atq a couple months.  Was
getting a P0089 and bunch of other codes.  So far, so good.

OK, so NAC but VAG product so I hope this is OK.  Got a B5 2002, Passat
1.8at.  I'm trying to remove the steering column.  Trying to remove the
bottom bolt at the footwell.  It's a T-30.  It's a little tight down there,
but I'm able to get to it.  I've tried to loosen it, but it's torqued
pretty tight.  I'm afraid of stripping the bolt so I've not put too much
pressure.  Anyone know what the torque spec is for that bolt, and any
advice/tips on loosening that thing?
