I think I posted that I’d sold the 4kq in late August, but a few more comments:

Jan Pinkowish emailed me off-list suggesting that I advertise it on Motorgeek because people on Motorgeek sometimes want 4kq’s for engine swaps. I ran this idea past a friend who isn’t a lister but has owned and wrenched on a number of Audis, including at least 2 4kq’s. His take was that with the availability of A4’s, which can easily be chipped, the engine-swap scene isn’t what it once was.

I advertised the car on the Audifans list, the Pacific NW list, and Motorgeek. I got some responses from people whose names I didn’t recognize, so presumably they saw the Motorgeek listing. I ended up selling it to someone from the Pacific NW list, but the Motorgeek listing gave me some more irons in the fire.

I advertised the car for $500 and ended up selling it for $475. It wasn’t in concours shape, and at that point, my agenda was to get it off my hands.
