[Biturbos4] Strange loss of coolant

Thanks for following up Ti - my wife's Passat is losing coolant, too - and I haven't been able to find the source.  Was it the temp sensor on the back of the motor? Or?

Thanks for all the comments, here is an update.

My coolant leak is fixed!  And it's an amazingly small repair.
Turns out the o-ring for one of the coolant thermal sensors was leaking, but not bad enough to do so all the time.  Only when the car is running hot would it begin to leak.

So, all that was needed was to replace that o-ring.  Also, one of the coolant reservoid hoses was showing a small bit of G12 crud at the end.  Rather than replacing the hose, simply cutting the hose end a little and reinstalling it did the trick.

Nothing expensive broke!  Thank goodness. :)
