There are so many places to hide something as small as a set of keys, why
risk losing them?

Put'em in the bathroom or kitchen garbage bins and cover them with
whatever looks right by won't rot.  

I would suggest figuring out your own place, as someone who would go to
these lengths to steal an 8 year old Audi may just be reading this list.
