Jorgen Automotive I believe still rebuilds these. They used to have cores and have rebuilt units on hand but I'm not sure if they still do or not. You have to check with them. Getting the rack out of the car is a total pain in the you-know-what with the engine in place.

My '91 coupe's steering rack is leaking badly. What're my options for a quality repair or replacement? The part is not readily available.
