Hi, this is to the electronically savvy gents:
Patient is Y2K bug, it was parked since April with the battery mostly
disconnected. Reason was replacing a faulty ign. coil. Drove it for about
100 miles to get home, mostly on 3 cyl., now runs fine.
This radio always worked after battery was reconnected and did not need
recoding.
Problem: When turned on the radio displays "FM 1 88.3". It does not react
to any buttons on it, no sound, no static. I'm assuming that there is power
to it, because of the display and the fuse behind is OK. Haven't identified
any other fuses that might be related and not sure, if it's a fuse issue.
Amplifier gone? Other internal issue?
Any help greatly appreciated,
Tihol
