Options for Repairing/Replacing Instrument Cluster on 1990 Audi 100

There are a few things that have stopped working, in my instrument
cluster. There are also a few things I'd like to change. Hoping someone
might have some BTDT or other suggestions:
*The Basics:*
1.) Some of the lights around the speedometer have gone, making it a bit
difficult to read the speed at night.
2.) The odometer along with the trip odometer recently stopped working.

*Nice to Haves:*
3.) Its a California car that was imported to Canada. I'd ideally like to
replace certain gauges with the original German/metric versions. The main
one being the speedometer of course. Ideally I'd like the temperature
gauge also...just a bit of a pet peeve of mine, having a gauge without
numbers:

4.) Has anyone found a replacement for the original Instrument Cluster
bulbs with LED's, but such that the original orange-red coloured lighting
won't be dramatically changed

5.) The lowest of priorities, but while I'm in there if there's a simple
way to bring the LED clock back to life, I may as well. That is, I'm
guessing they're LED's, and very early generation LED's. If its displaying
an "8" and one of the segments of the number stops working, it could either
be a "6" or an "8"...then as additional segments stop working, it becomes
quite useless.

Ironically, I'd previously opened up the cluster to fix some solder spots
for the "bobbing speedometer" problem. Wish I'd done all of the above at
the same time!

Thanks for any thoughts,

MC
