Brave words, indeed. Many, most, have fallen away during the intervening
years, apparently having given the last measure of their devotion.

This has been brought home to me recently. Traffic on the qlist has nearly
ceased. Our go-to Audi recyclers have no market for parts for the old cars:
no demand and less supply. And when I displayed my 5ktq at a recent, large
charity concours event in Littleton, CO, my car was the only older Audi in
the show. The Audi Club judges couldn't find the battery. I'm beginning to
understand how the veterans of Pearl Harbor are feeling these days.
