I'd use 3M 4693.  It's a contact cement, gives you a few minutes to 
work.  About $12 for far more than you'll ever need on Amazon.

If some surround is still attached you should be ok, if it is all or 
mostly loose, you need to try to make sure things are exactly straight 
when you glue it down.
