Showed it to a mechanic. He said that it is probability the FPR. I told him that I tried another used FPR and that symptoms are still the same. He still thought it was a bad FPR and that at almost 30yrs old, no FPR would survive.
No pressures were measured due to lack of proper adapters.
He advised that I buy a Bosch FPR housing adapter and use the FPR from a 95 20V turbo.
Thoughts?

If the pump is newish the check valve is probably fine. Most of the time you can hear them, otherwise a smoke test works. You can Google that for any number of methods of doing one.

What's the best method to find vacuum leaks? I cant locate a vacuum leak.
The injectors are relatively new.
I have the Pierburg fuel pump. Is the check valve inside the pump?

the check valve is going bad? Leaky injectors causing cylinder wash and
killing compression? What injectors are you using?Sent from my Sprint Samsung

and even then, cranking is longer than it used to be. There are no codes.
What’s responsible for the rpm surge upon start up?CG
