great video on the 5

[Ti Kan]

This video makes my eyes wet a little.  I’ve seen John Buffum drive the urQ rally car at Virginia City Hill Clumb in Nevada, I was there when the 1988 200 Trans Am and the 1989 90tq IMSA cars won with Hurley Haywood and Hans Stuck at Sears Point raceway.  I’ve heard the racing turbo I5’s glorious roar, the chirping wastegate, and the excitement of it all.  Topping all that was Audi’s big showing at the 1998 Monterey Historics at Laguna Seca raceway, where Auto Union was the honored marque.  Just sweet memories.
