This sounds like a cold stat issue that happens before the O2 sensor comes to operating temp
Like Peter said, MFTS AND the G62 coolant temp sensor in the head - AND the connector body (pull the boot back and ensure that the contacts are making good contact.)
I and some others found that the the G62 connector body had broken and the pins would make intermittent contact)
