2009 A4 Avant Oil level/Ad Oil Light

Hello friends,

2009 Audi A4 Avant 2.0T    I can't figure out the false Ad Oil Light 
(yellow)   It's been going on for a few thousand miles. Awhile back I 
thought I fixed it or at least it worked correctly for several weeks.

I have a dip stick so I check the level with that.    I have searched 
all the forums I can find, both foreign and domestic. It is a known 
problem but I haven't gathered enough info to fix mine.

The oil level is OK.  I have checked, by-passed, repaired the open hood 
switch and it shows open and closed on the dash.

Checked the wiring at the sensor mounted on the oil pan, 12v and ground.

Replaced the sensor.

I have VCDS  Ross Tech diagnostics.     does anyone know if there is a 
way to actually measure what  the sensor is reading?  Is there some 
adaptation that needs to be done?
