Hi folks,

This is a much overdue response to several of you who voiced interest in
seeing pics of my blacked out tail lights. The weather around here had been
really crappy, and its only the last couple days that we've had good weather
and I've had the time to make my car somewhat presentable.

Below you will find pics from a local VW car show from this weekend. My car
was on display along with a couple 2000 S4s as a promotion for our VW/Audi
specialty performance shop we're opening in a month or so. For all the pics
go to:

The tail light pics are here:

BTW, a few nights ago Mr. Ritchie and I did a comparison of the factory tail
lights to the blacked outs. Tail lights and brake lights are equal in
brightness, but the amber turn signals are much, MUCH more visable. Because
the turn signal is squished all the way into the corner of the lense, at
many angles it can easily blend into the red of the adjacent brake light.
The amber eliminates that issue. So those of you concerned about the safety
of this light cluster, you needn't worry.
