[s-cars] No A/C, no wipers, and finally, no start

Regarding these failing starters due to ignition switches staying on -
 Mine does it from time to time and last week my mother drove the car
all week with me away.  I hate to think if she drove merrily along with
starter engaged........
Anybody pressed the stealer regarding ignition switch recalls??
