[s-cars] switch recall?

It is possible that combustion conditions could influence the non inclusion
of valve cutouts in modern engines tuned so close to limit pollution. The
valve cutouts could possibly provide pockets of dead or unburned gas which
would be undesirable for both combustion and pollution. A friend's Civic let
go (belt broke) and bent valves and con rods. W/O
